DA NANG GOVERNMENT CONSIDERS RELAXING SOCIAL ISOLATION IN SOME AREAS

On August 28, Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee of Da Nang City held a meeting under the instruction of Mr. Truong Quang Nghia - Municipal Party Secretary.

In the meeting, Mr. Le Trung Chinh (Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City) reported that there were 168 COVID – 19 patients discharge from the medical facilities, 186 cases treated and 24 deaths.

"At the meeting of the National Steering Committee yesterday, Da Nang proposed to the Central Government to consider relaxing isolation as soon as possible" - said Mr. Chinh.

Besides, workers in four industrial zones in Da Nang City have not been tested for COVID-19. Therefore, the Department of Health proposed to spend one week focusing on testing for COVID – 19 on about 100,000 samples.

Therefore, Da Nang considers issuing an instruction on living with the pandemic COVID – 19, implementing Directive No. 16 and Directive No. 19 at the same time by area.
