Upon its release, the guidebook received high praise from international organizations, investors, the business community, and readers. Many noted that the guidebook's content was meticulously compiled, with clear, up-to-date, and practical information for investment promotion and trade cooperation. In particular, foreign organizations and FDI enterprises considered the guidebook a useful information channel that helped them quickly understand Vietnam's investment environment, legal procedures, and preferential policies, thereby building confidence and facilitating investment decisionmaking. In addition, the guidebook received many constructive comments, with the majority expressing a desire for regular content updates and wider distribution in multiple languages to reach a broader audience, especially international investors.

Based on this, in 2026, VIETRADE reissues (with additions) the Vietnam Investment Promotion Guidebook in English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. This guidebook will provide an overview of the economy, guidance on investing in Vietnam, and important considerations when conducting business and residing in the localities, along with other useful information for foreign investors seeking potential investment opportunities in Vietnam."
